  • Led the development of FEMA’s National Risk Index, a public website and comprehensive geospatial dataset providing multi-hazard risk estimates for every U.S. county and Census tract, integrating exposure, frequency, loss, social vulnerability, and resilience metrics. 
  • Developed and implemented advanced risk methodologies, leveraging authoritative nationwide datasets and GIS technology to create a consistent, comprehensive, and interactive national risk assessment tool. 
  • Provided project management, stakeholder engagement, user requirements gathering, and facilitated meetings with diverse user groups to ensure the tool met broad community needs. 
  • Identified, gathered, and conditioned geospatial source data from multiple federal agencies; developed website content; tested the web application; and prepared technical documentation. 
  • Supported the roll-out of multiple data releases, addressed user and media inquiries, and performed analyses leveraging National Risk Index data to inform strategic risk reduction.
